Thursday Next : When the Fall.
Interesting techno made by skinny boys.
The tracks on this album transition easily from the dance floor to a movie score, channelling influences like Underworld, Aphex Twin, and William Orbit. Toronto composer Mark Aylward hooked up with engineer / producer James Miles on the latest Thursday Next sessions. A solid multi-instrumentalist, Aylward layers lush acoustic elements over broken beats with dramatic flair. Thursday Next is complex, cinematic, and cool. Just listen.
